  • 80ml apple vinegar
  • 500g tomato passata
  • 240ml beef stock
  • Fresh basil, dried oregano, sugar, and parmesan cheese
  • 200g spaghetti
  • 6 crusty white rolls
  • Melted butter, parsley, garlic paste, and shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce: Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté diced onion until golden, then add minced garlic. Brown ground beef before mixing in tomato puree.
  2. Simmer: Add apple vinegar and reduce slightly. Stir in tomato passata, beef stock, herbs, and seasonings; simmer for about 25 minutes.
  3. Prepare the bread bowls: Hollow out rolls and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic, parsley, and parmesan.
  4. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; combine with the sauce.
  5. Assemble: Fill each roll with pasta mixture and top with shredded mozzarella.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 8–10 minutes until cheese melts and bread is golden.
