  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 egg (optional, for binding)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick rounds and brush both sides with olive oil before placing them on the baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground beef (or turkey), onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and egg (if using). Mix until well combined.
  4. Mold the meat mixture onto each cabbage slice to form patties.
