- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup milk
- 5–6 peaches, cut into 8 wedges
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and melt the cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, milk, and vanilla until just mixed.
- 3. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup; layer half over the melted butter.
- 4. Pour batter over the peaches without stirring and top with remaining peaches.
- 5. Bake for about 50-55 minutes until golden brown.
- 6. Prepare maple butter by heating remaining butter and maple syrup; drizzle over cobbler before serving.
