2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Instructions
Prepare a large rimmed baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
In a heavy-bottom saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and sugar. Stir continuously until it reaches 285°F and turns dark amber (about 35-45 minutes).
Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot toffee; let them soften for 1-2 minutes before spreading into an even layer.
Top with finely chopped pecans, gently pressing them into the chocolate.
Allow to cool at room temperature for about an hour until set.
