  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound shredded brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)
  • 1/2 of a lime (juiced)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, crumbling it as it cooks. Add green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, sriracha (if using), and soy sauce. Cook until fully browned.
  2. Remove the beef mixture from the skillet. In the same skillet, add avocado oil and sauté the shredded brussels sprouts with salt and pepper until soft and caramelized.
  3. Combine the beef back into the skillet with brussels sprouts and stir in sweet chili sauce and lime juice until well mixed.
  4. Serve hot over rice or your preferred base.
