  • ½ cup Kalamata olives (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté garlic and red onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes and Kalamata olives; cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  4. Combine drained pasta with the skillet mixture, adding lemon juice, zest, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to combine.
  5. Sprinkle crumbled feta on top and mix lightly before serving.
