  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt flakes for garnish
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly; press into the pan.
  3. Evenly sprinkle pecan halves over the crust.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter with brown sugar over medium heat until bubbling. Cook for one minute after boiling.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the pecans and crust; bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top; let them soften before spreading evenly.
