  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green but crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger; sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Return chicken to skillet. Mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl; pour over chicken and green beans. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles.
