  • ½ cup applesauce or apple butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and position a rack in the middle.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine apple cider and applesauce (or apple butter).
  4. In a stand mixer, cream softened butter with sugars for about two minutes until fluffy.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla to the mixture; mix until combined.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with the apple mixture until just combined.
  7. Grease the bundt pan and pour in the batter evenly.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes; check doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
